Wainhomes development at Probus: modification to s106 agreed with Cornwall Council

Following the withdrawal of the new planning application submitted by Wainhomes (see revised planning application submitted and revised planning application withdrawn) Cornwall Council and the developer have now signed the modification to the s106 agreement that was part of the original planning application granted on appeal in 2015.

The only significant change is that the percentage of affordable houses will now be 40% rather than 50%. In the light of changes to government policy, the Council felt that it had no option but to agree to this change.
