Trelawney Garden Centre, Probus, new planning application submitted to Cornwall Council

In late January 2017, the owners of the site next to the Trewithen roundabout have submitted a new planning application for a garden centre on this land. The plans should be available to view on the Council’s online planning portal shortly.

This follows years of uncertainty and rumours about what would happen to the site after the previously granted planning permission expired.

Although there has, in the past, been widespread local support for the principle of a garden centre on this site, the application will follow the usual process of being considered at the parish council and then determined by Cornwall Council either by a council officer under delegated powers or by a planning committee.

If anyone wishes to comment on the application, they will be able to do so directly to Cornwall Council online or by email or post, or they can put their concerns to the parish council. If anyone has any questions about the proposal, please contact me and I will try to answer them.
