Signs erected on Bosillion Lane, Grampound, to deter satnav users from using unsuitable road

The unclassified road that runs from the top of Fore Street, Grampound, along Bosillion Lane and then out of the village for about 2km past Trewarmenna before joining the road to Tregony, is not really suitable for through traffic. It is narrow and lacks passing places. Unfortunately, some satnav systems direct motorists along this route particularly en route to Mevagissey or Heligan Gardens.

In order to deter motorists from following this route, Grampound Parish Council has funded the installation of signs at each end of the route advising them of the unsuitability of the road and encouraging them not to use that road.
