Probus by-pass: concerns about speed of traffic and number of serious accidents at junction on the road - report published

Ever since I have been the Cornwall Councillor for Probus and the adjacent area, I have been concerned about the speed of traffic on the A390 Probus by-pass and the number of serious accidents on the road particularly at the junctions at Trevorva (turn off to A3078 to Tregony and the Roseland) and Denas Water (B3275 to Probus and Ladock). There have been two fatalities at Denas Water in the past two years. I believe that there are actions that the highways authority could take to reduce the number of serious accidents. I have prepared a report that I have sent to the relevant officers in Cornwall Council highways and to the parish council.

A copy of the report can be downloaded here.
