Primary schools admissions for September 2020: applications must be made by 15 January 2020

The closing date for parents/carers to apply for a reception class place for next September is 15 January 2020. This applies to parents/carers with children born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016. Please make sure that you meet this date for your child.

Applications submitted after the deadline mean that the chance of parents/carers securing a place at one of their preferred schools is reduced, with a subsequent effect on the total number of appeals for school places which is a concern for schools and distressing for families.
