Council's IT team make it easier to download all planning documents

As part of a general move towards encouraging all those dealing with the Council to work in a paperless way, the Council's IT team have now made it easier to download all the documents associated with a planning application.

All planning applications are open for inspection on the Plannng Portal. Within that system is the facility to see all the documents associated with the application. Until recently, in order to view each document, the user had to click on each document in turn and, if they wanted to retain a copy offline, would have to download each one separately. In an initiative by the chairman of Grampound with Creed Parish Council, a service was offered independent of Cornwall Council that allowed a user to download all the documents in one move. Now, the Council's is offering this service directly from the CC planning portal. See screenshots below that show the process.
