Gas mains replacement work to start in Fore Street, Grampound in late September

Local residents will know that the gas mains in Grampound has been having problems for several years with repairs to various sections taking place frequently.

Western Utilities is now planning to replace the whole mains in Fore Street starting in late September. This will involve significant disruption to traffic during the period of the works. Expect major delays.

Western Utilities are holding a public drop-in session in Grampound Village Hall on Thursday 4 September betwen 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. They will be able to explain what is being proposed and will be able to answer questions.
