Construction starts at Garlenick site for wind turbines

Construction started on the site for the two large scale wind turbines adjacent to the A390 east of Grampound on 28 April 2014.

In the first 2-3 weeks, works will be carried out to provide a safe access to the site from the main road. Then construction will start of the tracks across the field to the proposed bases of the turbines. The turbines themselves will be erected during the summer/autumn period with commissioning of the project anticipated to take place by December 2014.

Construction is being carried out by Raymond Brown Construction Limited on behalf of the developer, Airvolution Ltd.
