Garlenick wind turbine project: results of elections for community fund panel Voting closed for the election of community fund panel members on 8 November. The candidates with the highest votes and who are duly elected to the panel are:
Congratulations to those residents. Thanks also to the other candidates (Victoria Buchan, Bob Digby, Tommy Tank) who put themselves forward and made sure that we had proper elections for what will be an important role over the years ahead. The above five persons will join Dean Jenkins, representative of Grampound with Creed Parish Council, and Bob Egerton, Cornwall Councillor, to form the seven-person panel. Further details will be published soon about how community groups will be able to apply for funding.
