Waste and recycling collections Christmas 2020

Cornwall Council has published details of the waste and recycling collections for Christmas 2020. As usual, normal collections will happen on all days apart from Christmas Day and Boxing Day. As Christmas Day falls on a Friday and Boxing Day on a Saturday, it means that only those collections due on Friday 25 December will be affected. Collections on all other days in the Christmas and New Year period will be as normal.

For black bag waste due for collection on Friday 25 December, there will be no collection that week. Residents will have to store up their black bag waste until the following Friday which is New Year's Day.

For recycling or garden waste due for collection on Friday 25 December, there will be no collection on that day but there will be an extra collection on Saturday 2 January.
